On Living Color

Everything was red
Thinking it was love
I tried to breathe it in
Bathe in it and
Hide it in my pockets

When I went to
pull it out again
on a rainy every day
I found a chameleon
who called itself pain

It changed all to blue
getting deeper as I
sank into the ocean
of tears that wouldn't stop
falling from my heart
